When you book an apartment with us and submit your personal
information Daniel&Jacob’s agrees to process your personal information in accordance with section 6, paragraph 1, of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

How does Daniel&Jacob’s collect your data?

You directly provide Daniel&Jacob’s with most of the data we collect. We collect and process data when you make a booking with us through our website danielandjacobs.com. We also collect personal data when you book an apartment with us through a third party booking site such as Booking.com, Expedia group or AIRBNB. Daniel&Jacob’s also collects personal information via browser cookies or web beacons when you visit our webpage danielandjacobs.com

How will Daniel&Jacob’s use your data?

Daniel&Jacob’s collects your data so that we can process your booking and contact you to provide you with check in information and stay in touch during your stay with us.

If you have agreed to receive marketing from us we will also use your data to email you with marketing efforts only from Daniel&Jacob’s.

When Daniel&Jacob’s processes your order and specifically payment we may send your credit card information to our credit card processor Stripe and PensoPay in order to validate your payment and confirm your booking. We will keep you notified of this process via email.

How do we store your data?

Daniel&Jacob’s securely stores your data in our PMS system operated by Guesty who also abides and confirms to operate according to section 6, paragraph 1, of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Daniel&Jacob’s keeps your credit card information until 14 days after check in after it is automatically deleted. We do store your name, email address, phone number and country if provided with us until you should inform us to please delete this.

Marketing

Daniel&Jacob’s would like to send you information about offers and services of ours that we think you might like. This is only done if you have agreed to receive marketing and you can always opt out at a later date.
