A tour of the place
You enter the courtyard from the street through a charming old gate. The stairway which has an elevator is located at the rear of the courtyard.
When you enter the apartment, you find yourself in the open kitchen/living/dining area. The full kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals as well as a Nespresso machine and free biodegradable capsules.
Between the lounge area and kitchen is a dining table that seats all of you comfortably. There is a comfortable couch as well as an easy chair by the french balcony that opens towards the courtyard.
The two bedrooms have comfortable kingsize beds (180x200cm.) that also splits into singles. There is an extra single bed in the master bedroom. The spacious bathroom is newly decorated with beautiful big tiles.
The area
Don’t be surprised if you happen to run into the Crown Prince couple and their family. They live just down the street.
What makes this area unique is the combination of historic charm, lots of things to see and do while remaining surprisingly calm, especially later in the day. Try the water buses, a fun way to get to nearby attractions like the Opera House or Freetown Christiania.
